Tax Planning

Rynkar, Vail & Barrett provides tax planning services to help our clients meet business and personal objectives while minimizing tax costs. Effective tax planning requires knowledge and experience in tax law, rules and regulations.

Recognizing the special needs of this area, our firm has created a Tax Planning Group. This group is comprised of professionals with extensive tax planning knowledge and who concentrate their efforts in this area.

Our library is comprised of a series of searchable computer-based programs.  Additionally, members of our Income Tax Planning Group are active in professional tax planning organizations and regularly participate in tax planning seminars.

Tax Audit and Appeals Representation

Rynkar, Vail & Barrett provides services to clients whose tax returns are being examined by the Internal Revenue Service or other taxing authorities. We assist our clients throughout the examination process, from the initial contact through administrative appeal levels.

Proper representation is critical to a favorable conclusion of an examination. A professional must have knowledge of tax law, rules and regulations, access to a library of tax pronouncements and court cases that have set precedents, as well as the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with the examiner.

Rynkar, Vail & Barrett has a history of successfully representing our clients’ tax positions before federal, state and local taxing authorities. We have the knowledge, tools, and skills to minimize the cost and time burdens that an examination or appeal can place on our clients.
